GUO Qiang


Guo Qiang, the founder and Chef of Amico BJ. He devotes himself to culinary for more than 20 years and is quite proficient in Italian and Japanese cuisine. His unique culinary style draws inspiration from his study and work experience both in Italy and Japan. As the first group of Chinese chefs who studied culinary overseas, he went abroad in 1996 and worked for a famous restaurant named NOBU di Giorgio Armani in Milan for 5 years. He also honed his cooking skills at different restaurants for another 3 years. After he returned to china, he has kept being to japan to study the japanese cuisine. Thanks for his diligence and endowments he won the opportunities many times to display his fine cuisine cooking at diplomatic banquets arranged by Italian embassy and also gained the honour to cook for the President of Greece and the Mayor of Milan. Before the opening of Amico BJ, Guo Qiang was the founder and executive chef for Benlai Kitchen.
